How do I tell my parents I don’t like the phone they bought me for Christmas?

They bought me a Huawei Elate which is a crappy little Chinese Android phone, the camera is blurry, the keyboard is bipolar because sometimes it’s super sensitive and other times you almost have to put your finger through the phone to get it to respond, the speaker is muffled and quiet so you can’t hear the person your talking to or music, it is so cheaply made you can see the notification light through the back of the phone. I really hate this phone how do I tell my parents without them getting mad? Oh and to everyone who’s gonna say “you should appreciate it they didn’t have to get you anything” my old phone works much better than this piece of junk so I would have rather had nothing.

Just tell them. Maybe they didnt know. Be like "yeah honestly I dont think its gonna last." and show them whats wrong. Youre in this together, theyre not against you. Theyll probably be like "wow wtf didnt realise, lets return it"Reply

I would thank them for the gift and just tell them you prefer your old phone. Your parents might of not been able to afford the greatest and latest. Phones can be way more expensive than cameras so if what you are really wanting is a better camera that might be a more reasonable request. On return of the broken phone.Reply

Give it to them to use and to get them to try and understand the problems with it?Reply
